If you are staying in or near Louisville, then you will be able to take advantage of the Caesar’s in Southern Indiana, which is commonly known as ‘The Boat’ to local residents. The casino itself, called Glory of Rome, rests on a four hundred and fifty foot boat which floats out on the water, and while it may not quite feel like a river cruise – the boat is completely static, and enclosed – you will actually be on top of the river at all times, as evidenced by the presence of the life jackets and rings that dot the perimeter of the casino. This is only fifteen miles out of Louisville, in the small town of Bridgeport, Indiana, so it is very easy and convenient to access it and you could even stay in the hotel here if you have business in the local area.
